This weekend, volunteers for Anthony Brindisi’s campaign knocked on their 50,000th door of the election cycle. This milestone coincided with the 10,000 Knocks Week of Action, a week where activists across the district made a push and knocked on 10,000 doors over seven days. Supported by local volunteers from all eight counties across the district, these achievements indicate a growing surge of grassroots support for the campaign.

“I’m thrilled to see our grassroots movement grow to the point where our amazing volunteers have already hit such an impressive milestone,” said Brindisi. “This is how our campaign is going to succeed. This campaign has always been about giving the people of the 22nd district a voice over the corporate money fueling the other side. It’s been inspiring to watch this movement grow, and I think it’s essential that we take the time to highlight the hard work of so many of our volunteers.”

Rather than taking corporate PAC money to support his campaign, Brindisi’s focus has been on the people of NY-22. This milestone, and the movement of volunteers who made it possible, demonstrates that the voters of NY-22 are eager for a representative who fights for the people of Upstate New York.
